Lagoni & Co. is a bagel and coffee café in Østerbro — a natural stop for breakfast, lunch or take away on your way past Ryesgade. Every pastry is baked from scratch in our own kitchen each day, and the café is run by the same family as Lagoni Kaffebar in Helsingør.
Lagoni & Co. opened in 2023 on the corner of Ryesgade in Østerbro. We bake our bagels and buns in house every day, brew the coffee at our own counter, and pour a glass of wine when the afternoon turns into evening.
The café is run by the family behind Lagoni Kaffebar on Simon Spies Plads in 3000 Helsingør — the same coffee and the same recipes, but two independent cafés. Lagoni & Co. ApS is registered under CVR 43495399, and our Danish food-safety inspection report is public.
Behind the café is Carl Lagoni, who founded Lagoni & Co. in 2022 and runs it day to day on Ryesgade. He is the son of Michael Lagoni, who opened Lagoni Kaffebar on Simon Spies Plads in Helsingør. The coffee is Lagoni's own roasted Arabica blend of beans from Brazil, Costa Rica and Ethiopia — the same coffee in both cafés, brewed at our own counter all day.
There is room both inside at the long table and outside on the pavement facing Ryesgade when the weather allows. Everything can also be ordered as take away, and we accept Dankort, VISA and Mastercard.

Bagels, buns and coffee
The menu is short and shifts a little with the season. Mornings bring house-baked buns and rye bread with cheese, and Greek yogurt with granola and seasonal fruit. From lunch on it is bagels with cream cheese — cucumber, red onion and capers, tomato with grated lemon, or salmon with cornichons and dill. Alongside that, coffee brewed at our own counter, matcha, tea and a couple of pastries.
We serve breakfast, lunch, coffee, cakes and cold drinks — and every pastry is made from scratch in our own kitchen on Ryesgade.
